Textpattern does not offer an obvious way to add meta tags to a template, but its easy to implement a custom description and set of keywords for each article.
It’s possible to use the CSS database in Textpattern to store external javascript so that it doesn’t have to be embedded in the page template.
This is a simple plugin to cut a string of text at a specified character limit, then add a string to the end, like ellipses.

This hack and/or plugin lets you use WikiWords inside of TXP article’s or reference external links. The words refer to other TXP article’s. The words arn’t automatically created, like a real wiki, but any words that haven’t been setup are just disregarded.
