PunBB with it’s simplicity and speed looks great in a tandem with Textpattern.
This plugin can display most recently active topics, newest topics, forum users online and board statistics.
It’s just a PunBB feature, adopted for Txp.

note (by frippz): This plugin requires the setting allow_url_fopen set to On in php.ini. I noticed that some servers are configured with it set to Off. Gentoo servers has it turned off by default for example.
