I’ve turned my really simple PHP breadcrumbs into a Textpattern plugin.
Use with clean URL mode.
<txp:scl_crumbs />
Bread crumbs are a form of trail navigation where the current location/page is shown in relation to its depth/heirarchy on the site.
Eg. Home > Section > Category > Article
NOTE: This plugin is no longer available. tcm_crumbs is another breadcrumbs plugin that is available.
