Simply takes Christophe Dolivet’s EditArea, a free javascript editor for source code, and uses it to enhance the textareas inside your Textpattern admin area’s Presentation tab.

This is very handy plugin. Is there a way to resize those textarea boxes? I have some lines of code that create a horizontal scrollbar which is a bit annoying.

@Petri, you can make the editarea fill the entire browser window. The toggle button for that is third from the left in the toolbar.


In Safari for Mac 4.1.2, there is a ‘ghosting’ issue with the text: the coloured text appears to be overlaid on the grey text, but is out by three or four pixels horizontally. The effect is trying to read HTML while drunk.
