Removing Comment Previews
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to remove the comments preview function from Textpattern. It involves publish/comments.php in your Textpattern folder, and I would advise backing up the file before you make any changes.

Note: This has been tested on the gamma versions 1.18 and 1.19 of Textpattern and may not work in other versions.

I think it’s a bad idea to have the authors of these mods, plugins, hacks, and etc. host them on their own sites. Too many times have I gone to the information URL only to find their site no longer exists. :(
