sed_default_article_status

Need to have a default article status other than Live? Well now you can.

Just install the plugin and go to Admin > Prefs > Advanced Prefs, scroll down to the ‘Publish’ section and choose the default for your site and save the prefs.

From now on, your new articles will default to that status.

Thanks for this plugin. It’s a small, but important, feature on sites that have multiple users — users who might not remember to put correct article status when they’re saving it. For some reason this plugin doesn’t show the dropdown thingy in some of my sites. Plugin seems to work neatly on fresh installs, but some older Textpattern installations (which although have been updated to 4.4.1) are lacking that dropdown totally.
