  1. fpx_image_import

Fran, if you import a complete folder, all the images from this folder will go in a category named after the folder. So this is also already in it.

  2. fpx_image_import

It would be nice to have the chance of select the image category for all the imported images, wouldn’t it?

  5. lastfm_tagcloud

As far as I know, this plugin works with all versions. I’m using txp 4.0.6 and it works. Do you get an error or what’s the problem do you have?

    ~Fran García at 14:20 PM, 06 May

  6. lastfm_tagcloud

Is this plugin still working for the rest of you? I’m on TxP 4.0.5.

  7. XHTML tags in article titles [revised]

3 is used for displaying the styled title. Good that you’ve asked, Alannie, so I became aware of how to improve the according sentence a little.

  8. XHTML tags in article titles [revised]

Great tip. I am wondering why step 3 is needed, are the problems with doing just step 4 instead of step 3?

    ~alannie at 19:59 PM, 30 April

  9. bas_flvplayer

Thank you this makes my week!! But NOTE: In the help section the very first example under Usage does not include txp: in the tag. It took me about an hour of head-scratching to figure out why it wasn’t working. Might want to fix that!

    ~alesh at 16:44 PM, 25 April

  10. wyn_email_publish

It’s very strange. I can paste it in every installation except one. But from a working installation of mine I can re-export it via ied_plugin_composer and then it paste successfully on the first site. This time it works and everyone is happy!… Could it be an encoding issue with your text …

  11. fpx_image_import

Ok, forget the last comment I did. This is a feature alredy implemented. The image thumb-image.jpg will be the thumbnail of image.jpg. I’m getting just an warning trying to delete the thumbnail image of the import folder. Great job!

    ~Fran García at 07:31 AM, 18 April

  12. fpx_image_import

The plugin is great and works fine for me. But I have a suggestion, it’d be greater to add the capability to upload a thumbnail automatically. I try to explain. For example, if you have an images file called myphoto.jpg and another one called myphotot.jpg, the second one will be …

  13. pap_xpoll

Hallo funktioniert das Plugin mit der aktuellen TXP 4.06 und wird es noch weiter entwickelt bzw. gepflegt? Die Seite gibt es gerade nicht: http://txp.seitenweberei.ch/ oder gar nicht mehr?

    ~SuMu at 01:49 AM, 14 April

Can I integrate this with jQuery Lightbox instead of Mootools?

    ~sirnemanjapro at 07:18 AM, 05 April

  19. wyn_email_publish

I have never seen this before… Disable all the other plugins and give another try?

    ~wayne at 00:35 AM, 05 April

  20. wyn_email_publish

Uhm… actually, in one site of mine this plugin works fine, and in another I still get the empty code error when trying to install!… that’s very strange. Never happened before… I will look further.

    ~Maurizio at 19:12 PM, 04 April

  21. wan_pdf

I have this mistake FPDF error: Missing or incorrect image file anybody can help ?

    ~Tom at 05:34 AM, 04 April

  22. wet_slimpattern

I second the request for a SlimStats tab in the admin control panel. That would be fantastic!

    ~Art at 00:01 AM, 04 April

  23. yab_shop

This plugin has a paypal support. AFAIK paypal business accounts from us or uk (maybe more, but not germany) can offer a credit card payment for costumers wihtout a paypal account. For a single credit card implementation I know too little about it. There a many possible integrations for many countries. …

  24. wyn_email_publish

@Maurizio: It works for me… Would you please try again? And did you download the plugin from Google Codes?

    ~wayne at 10:38 AM, 03 April

  25. wyn_email_publish

I get a “Plugin code empty or not valid” message when trying to install it… :-( Can you check the code?

    ~Maurizio at 10:12 AM, 03 April

  26. yab_shop

Great job! This looks really nice. Excellent for small and simple webshops. Would it be easy to integrate this with VISA payment?

    ~qweryu at 09:19 AM, 03 April

  27. mik_redirect

    Thanx

    ~Aibolit at 15:19 PM, 31 March

  28. tjh_listfilter

This is a very useful plug-in indeed. I particularly like the ability to filter articles by category and to have that filter applied persistently, in other words, to have the same filtered list there each time I come back to the articles tab. I would like to see a similar …

  29. vdh_flickr

Works wonderful!!! I use just 4 thumbnails which leads straight to Flickr. Code is very easy: <txp:vdh_flickr_thumbnails_list nsid=“25087127@N07” latest=“20” random=“4” open=“flickr” />

    ~Kestas at 19:25 PM, 28 March

  30. smd_slimbox

Kestas: Image resize is not part of the plugin because it is handled by Christophe Beyl’s Slimbox code instead. The plugin just generates the thumbnails, then hands off displaying the images to his code. I believe image resizing has been requested in his forum before; I’m not sure if a …

  31. swf_section_updated

Just what I needed for the front page of my site so that I don’t have to remember to hardcode an “Updated” flag every time I change something…

    ~Keith Reeder at 14:22 PM, 22 March

  32. smd_slimbox

I have it set up and it’s wonderful, but it lacks image resize. My very wide panoramas can’t take full advantage of user monitor’s width and I don’t want to make them small.. What to do?

    ~Kestas at 10:03 AM, 22 March

  33. gho_comments_invite

It seems to still be available, luckily. http://grauhirn.org/txp/ is the author’s page-o-textpattern-plugins; http://code.google.com/p/textpattern-plugins/wiki/GhoCommentsInvite is its page on Google Code.

    ~Peggy at 16:39 PM, 21 March

  34. hak_article_image

Say, I have a huge gallery of photos in various sections/categories, can I display the article images in the search results, along with the article title using the default TXP search?

    ~Husain Hakim at 07:35 AM, 18 March

  35. ptv_if

Sorry about that guys and gals. Did some remodelling on my site some time ago and didn’t realise that I killed the code folder. It’s up and running again.

    ~Pétur Valdimarsson at 08:10 AM, 16 March

  36. ptv_if

The link is not working? Wtf?

  37. rvm_maintenance

Oh, never mind. Seems that it was the difference between logging in with a “www.” and accessing the site without…

    ~David Zeibin at 20:15 PM, 14 March

  38. rvm_maintenance

I seem to be having trouble viewing the site while logged in with maintenance mode on. Is there a trick to making that work? And just to clarify, this should work on a per-browser basis, yes?

    ~David Zeibin at 18:59 PM, 14 March

  39. ajw_admin_workflow

I think this plugin should be in the “Authors” category. It was had to find not remembering it’s name. http://textpattern.org/plugins?c=authors Thank you for this useful plugin.

  40. smd_gallery

@ San Marco: I agree with joe. Get off your bum and type “mootools” into Google then all will be revealed, you will have used less keystrokes than you did typing up your silly comment. I also second Joe’s opinion of Stef’s good work.

    ~JoeBlo at 15:41 PM, 12 March

  42. vdh_flickr

You can find the plugin at http://www.lokeshdhakar.com/projects/lightbox2/, and it works fine for me.

    ~Fran García at 15:19 PM, 12 March

  43. smd_gallery

This sounds great! I’m currently using smd_slimbox with wet_for_each_image to do stuff. @San Marco: Traditionally the type of statement that you made, also includes an example of what you’re trying to do. That being said, your comment is not useful (aside from making you kinda look like you gave it …

    ~Joe at 13:32 PM, 12 March

  44. smd_gallery

@San marco: Yes it’s complicated, because it’s mainly for use if you’ve reached the limits of other “easy” gallery solutions. In this respect, because it is an “advanced” plugin, it assumes you know what you’re doing. You can get mootools but what you put in it is down to the author of …

    ~Stef Dawson at 06:27 AM, 12 March

  45. smd_gallery

The plugin sounds great but in reality it is very complicate. The documentation is lacking in more refined explanations, for example where the hell can i find the mootools.js? or what i have to put in the mootools.js for the slideshow? etc. Its done in good will but half way able …
